What do I need to do to complete an order?

To complete your order e-mail or fax us your credit card information.

How do you charge for the item(s)?

Our normal procedure is to place two charges on your credit card, the first one for the item(s) and the second one is for the postage which is done after the package has been mailed

I am not comfortable sending out my credit card details, are there alternative ways that I could use to pay you? Will you accept a personal check?

You can pay via pay pal by using the email address julian@belizegifts.com or personal check. However, if you use a personal check, we will not ship the package until the check has cleared. Mail us a personal check payable to to Juilan Sherrard and mail to:

How much would the shipping be?

The postage on shipping is determined on the weight of the packge. E.g. To U.S.A it's US$12 per Kg (2.2 lbs)

So, we're now international by nature of the web, and offer our finely made, hand crafted products directly to you!

How do I go about ordering some products which are shown on your website?

What is the finish on the wooden pieces?

Most of our smaller wooden products, such as bowls, have a wax finish. Our carved tables have a ployurethane finish. Some items such as clam chairs have an oiled finish.

What is the shipping time and cost?

The cost to ship depends on the weight of the item and the time depends on where it is being shipped to. Rate to U.S.A. is US$12 a Kg (2.2lbs) and gets cheaper per Kg as the weight increases. You can expect delivery within 3 weeks from the time you place your order.

Are the products on the website the only items you have?

No! We have so much more... The reason why everything is not in the website is because many of our products are one of-a-kind hand-made products.However, if you have visited our gift shop and saw something that is not posted on the website, e-mail us and descibe it, we will take some pictures of it and e-mail you the pictures for confirmation.

Is the clam comfortable for a person who weighs 200 pounds?

I weigh 190lbs and am quite comfortable in the chair. They are made of mahogany or salmwood and are very durable. The chair has a low center of gravity so it is very stable. The only down side to this chair is, because of it's low center of gravity, older folks with bad knees may have difficulty getting in and out of the chair. Other than that, there have been no other complaints since we started making the chair in the very early eighties.

Are your Chairs good for outdoor use?

They can go outside in the rain, snow, mud, sun, no problem. If the live outdoors, they will change color a bit over time but it will not affect the durability. Indoors, they are elegant and unique (definitely more classy than plastic chairs that last only a short while ).
